15th July, 2016 – London – UK: A doctor who sexually assaulted patients and secretly filmed them on hidden cameras has been jailed for four and a half years.
The creepy chiropractor used a concealed camera to film his patients undressing in the changing room of his practice.
Christopher Foley, 67, was caught after one woman noticed the camera recording her at the clinic in the High Street in Pembury, Kent. She reported the incident and Foley was arrested in November 2013.
He confessed to police that he had been filming women at his practice for around two years from January 2011. An analysis of the camera and Foley’s computer revealed more than a dozen videos featuring seven different women, detectives said.
Kent Police confirmed that all the videos had been taken without the victims’ consent and one even showed him sexually assaulting a woman. Foley pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault and 11 counts of voyeurism at Maidstone Crown Court on May 18, where he also admitted to possessing extreme images.
Detective Constable Wendy Thatcher said: “Foley knew that his victims had put a great deal of trust in him and he chose to repeatedly exploit this for his own gratification. “As a result he has left a number of women feeling violated, embarrassed and betrayed. It is fit and proper that he has received a custodial sentence.”
Meanwhile, a doctor at a top hospital was accused of ejaculating over a patient’s face as she lay sedated with morphine.
