    11th August, 2016 - London – UK: An Indian-origin surgeon is being sued by 57 of his former patients in the UK over claims he carried out unnecessary operations on them.

    Dr Arackal Manu Nair, who it is alleged gave prostate cancer treatment to patients who did not have the disease, is also being investigated by the UK's General Medical Council (GMC), it emerged on Friday.

    22nd August, 2016 - Memphis – US: A jury’s $30 million verdict against a Memphis nursing home last week will be hallenged in court, an attorney representing the business said.

    The Circuit Court jury levied the damages, including $28 million meant as punishment, against Allenbrooke Nursing and Rehabilitation Center LLC, as well as related businesses and two owners in New York.
