A young pregnant woman allegedly lost her life due to medical negligence at the Rural Health Center in Latti Mariyan, a suburban area of Ali Pur. The family members and local residents staged a protest against the hospital staff.
According to details, Robina Bibi, mother of two young children including a differently-abled daughter, came to the health center for a check-up. The family claims that the doctors recommended an operation and administered an injection, after which she, along with the unborn baby, reportedly died within 10 to 15 minutes.
The husband of the deceased, Muhammad Nawaz, along with local residents, protested and demanded action from the Health Department against the negligent staff.
