A woman lost her life allegedly due to medical negligence during a surgical procedure at a private clinic in Sahiwal, prompting police to register a case against a female doctor and seven paramedical staff members involved in the operation.
According to police sources, the patient underwent a routine surgical procedure but her condition deteriorated shortly afterwards. She was shifted to the District Headquarters Teaching Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Following a complaint by the deceased’s family, a case has been lodged against the doctor and paramedics under charges of criminal negligence. Authorities have sealed the clinic while investigations are underway to determine the circumstances that led to the fatality.
