The Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Pattoki has come under fire after a shocking viral video exposed severe negligence in its emergency services, showing a hospital sweeper performing medical procedures in the absence of qualified staff.
The video, widely shared on social media, shows a sweeper named Abid stitching wounds and dressing injuries, raising serious concerns about the hospital’s management. The footage also captures him attending to a female patient, highlighting the dire state of emergency care at the facility.
Following the revelation, citizens have expressed outrage over the hospital's poor conditions, lack of essential medicines, and frequent absence of medical staff. Many have accused the administration of mismanagement and corruption, questioning how the hospital remains under-equipped despite receiving substantial funding.
In response to growing public anger, residents have urged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take immediate notice and hold those responsible accountable.
