According to the petition, Jerri McInnis was attending a speed dating event at Bovine & Barley on October 16, 2022, when she slipped and fell due to a spill on the floor. Witnesses reported seeing the spill before McInnis's fall. Despite this, management allegedly failed to assist her and instead blamed her for the accident. The plaintiff argues that as an invitee on the premises, she was owed a duty of care by Bovine & Barley LLC. She accuses them of failing to warn her about or rectify the hazardous condition.
