The patient had sustained fracture of the right femur. She consulted an orthopaedic surgeon who performed sequestrectomy, however, the bones did not unite due to infection.

A pregnant patient was under regular antenatal follow up with her gynaecologist. However, she was not available on the day of delivery.

The patient underwent posterior interosseous skin flap surgery at a reputed hospital in Mumbai. He had fallen down from ladder at his residence in hometown, sustaining injuries on his left forearm. The surgery was performed in the month of November, 1998.

The patient suffered from excruciating abdominal pain. She visited a maternity centre where the gynaecologist performed Total Abdominal Hysterectomy (TAH).  

The patient was diagnosed with kyphoscoliosis – a spinal deformity – at the age of twelve in 2004. A non-malignant tumour was also reported, which could only be partially resected. 

A 27-year-old man fell from a height, sustaining severe head injuries. He was rushed to the hospital at about 5:30PM.

An orthopaedic surgeon was held negligent in this case for missing Colle’s fracture despite the X-ray showing so, and for treating it as ‘minor dislocation of elbow’.
