The patient, a seventy five year old man, underwent Bilateral Total Knee Replacement (BTKR) surgery on both knees. He may have hoped to perhaps walk on his own, without support, for the remainder of his life. However, fate had other plans. The senior citizen succumbed to post-surgery complications.
