M Kathikeyan’s case was one of the mostunfortunate one. He was taken to Sakthi Hospital with symptoms of cough and fever by his parents. After initial diagnosis, Dr. Siva Kumar and Dr. NaliniJayanthi suspected viral fever – malarial or typhoid – and started treatment accordingly.
