Mr. Singh met with a terrible and an unfortunate accident while working at the factory. A heavy metal object fell on his left foot, badly injuring it. He was hurried to Nanavati hospital, where Dr. Shetty diagnosed compound comminuted-tarsometatarsal fracture along with dislocation of the joint and toes.
