CMO orders probe into ‘false report’ by district hospital doctor | Noida News - Times of India

Ghaziabad: A probe has been ordered by the chief medical officer of Ghaziabad into an alleged false medico-legal report issued by a doctor at District Combined Hospital, based on a complaint by a local resident.
Sushank Singh, a resident of Razapur, has alleged that when he went to the government hospital after he and his family members were brutally assaulted by their neighbours, the radiologist gave a false report. The complainant had suffered a fracture on his right hand, but he was reportedly told that there was no injury.
Singh first complained to a senior official of the health department in Lucknow, who in turn, asked CMO DR NK Gupta to look into the matter.
The case pertains to Kavi Nagar police station. Singh alleged that a couple and their son, living in the colony, attacked their family on the night of March 13, in which they were badly injured. The police had taken everyone for examination to DCH, but an X-ray could not be conducted.
The next day being Sunday, the X-ray was done on Monday. Sushank alleged that he and his sister had fractures, but the doctor who did the X-rays denied it.
CMS Dr Sanjay Teotia told TOI the fresh X-ray has confirmed fracture. He said, “I am trying to find out more about the case.”
