Bigg Boss Tamil 1 fame Raiza Wilson shares draft of her legal notice to the dermatologist seeking Rs. 1 crore as compensation; actress Harathi comes in support of her - Times of India
Actress Raiza Wilson of Bigg Boss Tamil 1 fame has sent a legal notice to her dermatologist after her recent facial procedure went wrong. In the legal notice, Raiza alleged that the dermatologist and her staff suggested her 'wrong treatment' since the beginning of her consultation to 'extort money' from her and described herself as a 'victim of medical negligence'. She sought compensation of Rs. 1 crore for the damages caused and promised to donate the damages awarded in favour of her towards victims of medical negligence.
Her statement reads, “I approached Dr. Bhairavi Senthil based on her advertisement on various social media platforms to perform certain cosmetology procedures. I have been suggested by Dr. Bhairavi Senthil and her staff from the beginning of the consultation only to extort money. I have been denied emergency treatment by Dr. Bhairavi Senthil while my life was at threat due to the procedure. The shreds of evidence available to me (including a doctor examination) clearly shows that I am victim of wrongful procedure conducted by Dr. Bhairavi Senthil. Hence, an apology is ‘untoward’.
I am victim of a negligent act caused by Dr. Bhairavi Senthil and staff. In future, no one should undergo the pain I experienced. Being an actor, I consider myself responsible for my actions to the society. Hence to ensure no further people are affected by Dr. Bhairavi Senthil service, I have initiated a complaint before the National Medical Commission of Tamil Nadu against Dr. Bhairavi Senthil and others for conducting an investigation in due course of law, and I hope the decision of the authority would be revealed after investigation.
Finally, I initiated a legal proceeding claiming ‘One Crore’ as damages from Dr. Bhairavi Senthil for deficiency in her service. In due course of the legal proceeding, any damages awarded in favour of me would be donated to ‘Victims of Medical Negligence’.
With faith in God and Hope in Judiciary, I pray that people should always be provided with the best medical services.

Actress Harathi of BB Tamil fame came in support of Raiza. She commented on Raiza's post saying, "Bold dear being an actress our face is our investment so god bless u and we stay supporting to u (sic)"
Earlier, the dermatologist had also issued a press release responding to Raiza's allegations. She captioned the post, "This is our official statement regarding the whole Ms Ryza Wilson issue which is ongoing on social media.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported us during this whole episode.
I would also like to reassure everyone that I am continuing to provide our renowned services to the best of our capacities.
Thank you once again (sic)"
Her note reads, “The said clinical procedure involves administration of substance in the facial skin to enhance and rejuvenate the skin cells. The said procedure is done only with the due written consent of the person, who shall sign the necessary forms and declarations.
The said Raiza Wilson, who has undergone such clinical procedure several times earlier and had no complaints, but after the treatment in the last occasion on 16/4/21 had developed bruises as minor side effects, which shall appear in rare cases, if the precautions and medical advice is not strictly followed. The said rupture is not so serious or critical and the same shall subdue and heal naturally within a few days and shall not cause damage to the skin.
The statement made by Raiza Wilson is derogatory and had grossly affected the name, reputation of mine and my clinic. Therefore, I am constrained to initiate legal proceedings against Raiza Wilson and shall claim apology and suitable compensation for the said defamation, loss and mental agony suffered by me, for which Raiza Wilson alone shall be liable (sic)”
