Due care and caution a ‘must’ to manage known complications

The patient suffered from persistent vomiting and loose motion. He was initially treated at a nursing home, but to no avail. Subsequently, he was taken to a hospital where doctors diagnosed kidney problem.

A central venous catheter was inserted, after which blood clot developed. The patient suffered paralysis stroke.

He was referred to a higher centre, but was brought back to the hospital. The patient received treatment and physiotherapy at the hospital for about three months before being discharged.
