Delay in diagnosis could be ruled as medical negligence

The patient, without any history of medical complications, had developed fever and chills. He was admitted to the hospital where the doctor prescribed some medicines and administered saline.

About a day or so, the patient became breathless; his pulse rate and blood pressure were low. The doctor referred him to other hospital, where he died after twelve hours.
