Patient loses hand, husband loses cool and hospital loses money

The patient, a known diabetic, was admitted to a hospital with complaints of vomiting and general discomfort. The doctors administered saline and insulin, among other medicines. Couple of hours later, she developed sudden respiratory arrest.
