Performing surgery without taking patient’s history – Court surprised

A middle-aged woman consulted the surgeon with complains of numbness, weakness, slurred speech, severe headache and loss of vision. USG was performed; it reported stones in common bile duct (CBD).

The surgeon performed surgery to remove the stones. While the intra-operative period was uneventful, the post-operative period was fraught with complications.
