Treatment as per own diagnosis and not according to recent test reports is not negligence

The patient was taken to a hospital with complaint of urine retention. The doctors performed tests, diagnosed renal ailment and advised insertion of Foleys catheter.

Unconvinced with the advice, the patient consulted doctors at another hospital where she was diagnosed with triple vessel disease (TVD). Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) was performed but the patient did not survive. She died after few days.
