Kiran Devi, an ailing septuagenarian, had a history of diabetes, hypertension and bronchial asthma. She was taken to JeevanAnand Hospital where Dr. Jutsiand an ENT specialist diagnosed her with B/L abductor paralysis of the vocal cords’. Dr. Jutsi advised tracheostomy the next day but her relatives did not consent for same. Unfortunately, Kiran Devi died the next day.
