A deeply disturbing case of alleged medical negligence has surfaced in Pune, raising serious concerns about patient rights and accountability in private healthcare. At Sai Care Multispeciality Hospital in Manjari Budruk, a 35-year-old woman, who had approached doctors for a minor procedure, allegedly had her entire uterus removed without consent, triggering legal action and public outrage.
The woman, who runs a beauty parlour in the Keshavnagar area, had initially undergone a sonography that revealed a small lump in her uterus. Seeking treatment, she visited Sai Care Multispeciality Hospital on September 15, 2025, expecting a routine procedure to address the issue.
