Relatives of a woman who died post delivery in Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS), protested in front of the hospital on March 6.
Keerthi Tummaraguddi, 23, died within a few hours of delivery. Her relatives complained to reporters that doctors had been negligent in treating her. They sat in front of the hospital and shouted slogans. They refused to take the woman’s body and sought punishment for the doctors on duty.
Police from APMC police station convinced them to take the body home.
