The body of a Thrikkakara resident, who died while undergoing treatment at Kalamassery medical college a year ago, was exhumed for postmortem on Tuesday after his mother filed a complaint alleging foul play in his death.
Kalamassery police said the man died in April 2023 after he had undergone a surgery at the hospital. The mother had approached police several times alleging medical negligence resulted in his death.
