A 24-year-old man, Deepak Paswan, died at a private trauma centre in the Rajendra Nagar locality, Kadamkuan, of the state capital early Sunday, sparking allegations of medical negligence by his family members who vandalised the hospital. The police have registered an FIR against the hospital administration based on the statement of the family members.
The family claimed that the hospital staff was ‘incompetent' and were watching YouTube videos to learn treatment procedures. They also alleged that a female sweeper administered an injection to Deepak, which led to his death, police said.
TOI tried to reach the hospital administration but the calls went unanswered till the time the story went to the press.
