Four persons were arrested on charges of creating ruckus at Kamathana Covid-19 hospital in Kalahandi district following death of a patient.
While two accused belong to Cheliamalar, the two others are from Kusumadar village in the district. The accused have been forwarded to the court, police informed.
Tension erupted at the hospital after a Covid patient died on April 23. It was alleged that the death was on account of medical negligence. The relatives of the deceased patient created ruckus on the hospital premises alleging unavailability of doctors. They also alleged that the hospital lacks basic facilities like food and drinking water provisions. The video of the entire incident went viral on internet.
