A 44-year-old man suffering from diabetes-related complications was allegedly forced to take discharge from Aundh District Hospital, despite his deteriorating condition. The patient, Girish More, a resident of Yerawada, was found dead at home just three days later on January 12.
More was admitted to Aundh District Hospital’s male medicine ward on January 3 after his blood sugar levels became unstable. He was treated by Dr. Amol Bondre, who diagnosed him with chronic alcoholism and Type-2 diabetes.
