The family members and relatives of 45-years-old woman, who died during treatment due to `alleged medical negligence’ in GMC Rajouri today, held protest demanding action against the concerned hospital staff.
After the death of patient in the hospital, the family members created a ruckus in GMC and accused the doctors of negligence. It was learnt that Naseem Begum hailing from Manjakote area, who was undergoing treatment in GMC Rajouri for some time, her health suddenly deteriorated on Thursday and she died this afternoon.
On hearing the news of death, the family members of the deceased woman started creating ruckus in GMC, during which the woman’s brother-in-law Mohammad Afzal said that the doctors did not treat the woman properly here at all. When her health deteriorated, they were asked to bring an oxygen cylinder, they also brought an oxygen cylinder but even then the doctors did not pay any attention to her.
Expressing strong anger, the family members said that when a woman doctor available in the emergency was asked to examine the sick woman, she said, ” let whatever happens happen to her. I am examining other patients.”
